Garden State Chapter Project 5

February 2008, Charlie Holmes, Garden State Chapter, spearheaded a project to help out a Vietnam War Veteran, Danny Martin.

Mr. Martin received a medical discharge because of damage to his eye sight. He has lived in his home over 40 years, works part time & supports a disabled son. Danny needed a new boiler and there just wasn’t any way that he could afford the new installation. Knowing of OHC, Charlie suggested that he just might be able to get help through OHC. It was approved and now he has a new Weil-McLain steam boiler.

Mr. Martin was extremely grateful of the help from Paul Cuprewich and Ed Postal of Woolley Fuel; Randy Daniel and Freddie Ordine of Priority Mechanical; Charley Holmes, Lou Correa and Tom Koehler of JW Pierson Oil Co.
