One look at the external condition of this Patco boiler and you’d probably be able to decide for yourself why a replacement needed to be done.	Pictures don’t lie and this view too indicates that something had to be done for Ms. Anderson.	Thanks to the generous donation by Columbia Boiler & the folks from Southern MD Oil (SMO), Ms. Anderson can enjoy a comfortable & safe winter.

It has been said numerous times that Technicians are the face of most oil companies. The customer often forms their opinions of the company based upon the technician that keeps them comfortable.

Such is the case with Southern Maryland Oil who spearheaded an OHC project early December 07. The project all came about when technician, Keith Brown, went to the residence of Ms. Anderson for a no heat call. Ms. Anderson a 40 year plus customer is elderly and has had heart problems and no means of replacing a 40 year old Patco boiler. Keith approached his service manager, Walter Wyne, with the dilemma of the boiler not being safe to use. Walter contacted Columbia Boiler and they graciously donated a new Emerald boiler and SMO donated the labor and materials to complete the installation.

Walter Wyne along with his technicians, Keith Brown, David Franklin and Lewis Schmidt did the installation for Ms. Anderson.
