The Holt Family suffered a severe blow. Mrs. Holt was a well known fund raiser for the United Way campaign and she was suffering from Stage 4 cancer Thanksgiving 2006. Suddenly her husband, a veterinarian, died. Mrs. Holt lived until February 2007. On the afternoon of her passing, the boiler died.

Twin daughters, Lydia and Genny, who had just started college, were faced with the loss of their parents and an added expense that they just couldn’t handle. Due to medical bills and an investment in a new facility that their father had made, their resources were seriously drained. The home is a beautifully restored farm house that happens to be the second oldest in Arundel, ME. Al felt that the girls and the home deserved a new system.

Thanks to Pine Tree Chapter member Al and his nephews and Webber Supply who passed thru a discount on the equipment. A special thanks to KBS Boiler Service for removing and disposing the old equipment.
