Susquehanna Valley Chapter Project 1

Members of the Susquehanna Valley Chapter of NAOHSM installed a new Burnham Steam boiler for an 83 year "young" lady in the Muncy, PA area who still works part-time. This project brought together many different companies & organizations to complete the task.

Robert Dittmar & Josh Trotter from R.W. Dittmar Plumbing-Heating & Oil Company spearheaded the project and received help from Frank Heintz from Dent Plumbing-Heating & A/C of Bloomsburg along with the help of Pennsylvania College of Technology Plumbing & Heating Instructor Rick Taylor, and students Bruce Tami & Chad Hoffer of the hydronic heating class. The boiler was donated by Burnham and shipped from the local R.E. Michel Company located in Williamsport. Representatives Pete DePinto of R.E. Michel Company and Fred Gilbert of A.P.R. Supply Company helped provide the material necessary for the job.

This project through Oilheat Cares demonstrates how when competitors work together they can achieve a common goal and help someone in need.
